PRISE and Biology Department Students

The Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students (ABRCMS 2019) at Anaheim, California. It is one of the largest communities of underrepresented minorities in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Students attend this conference to present their research, enhance professional development skills, explore graduate schools, and network. 7 PRISE students and 6 students from the Biology Department of the UPR-Ponce attended this conference. We received 5 awards (3 from PRISE and 2 from the Biology Department). We are proud of our students in achieving their goals. Congratulations!! The sky is the limit!!!!

únicos puertorriqueños escogidos entre miles de participantes para completar la
docena de grupos que recibirán el prestigioso premio Young Investigators que
otorga la Experimental Biology and Medicine Association.
