Delia Esther Martínez Morales, Last November, Delia joined to UPR-PRISE team. Her responsibilities consist in entering applications to obtain equipment and collaborating with the coordinator to provide support in the fiscal institutional program processes. She has an Office Systems BA degree from UPR Ponce; a Business Education and Office Systems MA degree from Pontifical Catholic University at Ponce, and a Commercial Bakery and Pastry certification from Escuela Hotelera de San Juan. She has many hobbies, such as going shopping, enjoying internal tourism, listening to music and baking cookies or cakes. This position in the program brings her the opportunity for professional growth and promotes diversity in the workplace. Also brings the opportunity to contribute in achieving the Program goals.

Mary Angelli Franceschi, Scientific Research Technician. Mary is our new Scientific Research Technician for UPR-PRISE team. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Biology from University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez and a Master’s in Biotechnology from Pontifical Catholic University at Ponce. Her professional background is in agricultural biotechnology. Mary, is a really empathetic and caring person who sees research as a way of helping improve people’s health and life quality. In her free time, she likes to do tourism, travel, and spend time with her family. For her, PRISE represents an opportunity to be part in the development of undergraduate students and to grow in the biomedical research area.

Edward Gracia Febles, PRISE Webmaster. He has over 20 years of experience in information technology at UPR Ponce working with computer repair, servers, network, and voice and data infrastructure. Edward holds a Bachelor’s degree in Administration with a major in Computer Sciences as well as industry recognized certifications from Microsoft (MTA and MCP) and CompTIA (A+, Network +). When not on campus, Edward likes going to the movies and spending time with his wife and two kids.
